FMCG: Bonded Warehousing
Overview
We have worked closely with Customs and Excise to develop a software module to take care of duty regulations, allowing you to focus on your stock control. The system works by automatically calculating and recording the duties on wines, spirits, cider,
beer and tobacco, eliminating error and catering for Customs & Excise requirements. The inclusion of additional validation routines helps to protect users against data entry mistakes that could lead to potentially serious and inaccurate declarations of duty.
Designed specifically to fully integrate with our basic stock and warehouse management modules, the system automatically provides records of all Bonded Transaction Data as required by both UK and Republic of Ireland law. Under Bond, Duty Free and Duty Paid Warrants are produced along with forms W1, W8, W5, W5D, W6 and W6D. Tables of Main Revenue Groupings, Tariff Trade Groupings, Alcohol Duty Rates, Wine Duty rates and stock movement are pre-loaded into the system for ease of use.
Every Under Bond warrant is stored and tracked separately to ensure a copy is returned from the destination warehouse, providing a Master File Audit Trail for complete Customs compliance.
The bonded warehousing module integrates fully with Sales Order Processing to produce AADs, IADs and SADs for movements within the EU and outside of this area. It is also fully compliant with the European electronic AAD system.
