Credit Referencing

In some cases knowing whether or not a member has external financial commitments can be difficult or awkward to find out; which can sometimes make lending to a member a risky venture.

Within LOCUS your Credit Union can use a range of credit reference facilities.  This ranges from an inbuilt ability to perform internal credit checks on members requesting loans, to interfacing to external agencies to find out about any external financial commitments that may have been overlooked.

These external agencies range from:

• Irish Credit Bureau (ICB Online)
• Experian
• NCU Member Database
• Business Pro Union Check

By utilising the range of Credit Referencing facilities within LOCUS it will ensure that that your Credit Union is making the correct lending decisions and ultimately helping your members stay arrears free.
